For over twenty years, Lisa Autry has been involved in the field of Art, and Art Education.  She graduated with a Masters in Art and Education from the University of Toledo.   In 1990 she created and established a place for fun and creative development for children and adults, Imagination Station of Charlotte, NC.  Here she helped hundreds of aspiring artists to develop their creativity by way of drawing, painting and sculpture.  Several years later, her own creative itch grew strong.  So, she sold her school and launched out into a new adventure, pursuing her passion as an artist.

Travel has always inspired Lisa, and several trips to Europe later, she is working all over the country, especially on the east coast. 

Faux painting, mural art, and canvases in commercial as well as private venues are “de rigueur” for Lisa.  While classic techniques certainly have their place in the world of Lisa’s art, she remains well versed in the modern trends and materials currently used in commercial work.

Lisa’s work has been featured many times in the media, NBC’s Today Show, Charlotte’s Women magazine, Charlotte Business Journal as well as other local publications.
